The World of Orellia

Updated: Jan 30, 2024

The majority of our games take place in our own homebrew world. This is a fifth edition Dungeons and Dragons world with a few unique adjustments to the core rules in order to better suit our tastes.

Forging Futures In a World Endless Possibilities

“Are you worthy to save a world that still grieves? You orphans and liars. You wandering thieves!”

Centuries ago the Great Collapse occurred on the planet of Orellia. This disaster split the world in two and turned it inside out, nearly wiping out all life on the planet. No one knows what caused this disaster or if it can be reversed. Through the valiant efforts of a few heroes, the world has been restored to its former glory and seeks to forge a new future for itself. Today, the year is 1429 and all the eyes of the world are on the new continent of Qadoth and its inhabitants. Will it be divided and shared by existing countries? Will a new country be formed? Will its still unexplored islands prove too dangerous for even the bravest of heroes? Only time will tell.

Where Can I Learn More?

All of the lore and detailed information regarding our campaign is documented on scabard.com. This website is specifically designed for organizing RPG campaigns and is a great way to learn about different locations, characters, and quests and see how they all relate to each other.

What Lies Beyond the Horizon

“A dark voyage begins from reaches unknown. The fare I tally in flesh, blood, and bone.”

Our dnd group is right on the cusp of a brand new campaign! In this new adventure we meet a new cast of intrepid heroes embarking on a nautical adventure that has our cast traveling across oceans, exploring uncharted islands, and battling mysterious monsters from the deep. Tune in to our Spotify podcast or subscribe to us on YouTube to keep track of our latest adventures.

Seasonal Games

In addition to our usual campaign, our group regularly explores a variety of dnd one-shots around the holiday season. Some of our favorites have been How Strahd Stole Christmas by L. Kholer (The Raven Post) and A Kobold Christmas by River Daniel. These exciting one shots can be found on dmsguild.com.
